How to Play Guide
Welcome to our simple farm simulation game! Here is a comprehensive
guide to help new players understand the game mechanics and get
started.
The Basics
You are a farmer and your aim is to manage your resources wisely to
grow your farm and earn the highest score possible over a span of 10
turns. Here are the key elements you need to be aware of:
-
Turns: The game progresses in turns. At the beginning of each
turn, you can perform a number of actions equal to your number of
workers.
-
Workers: Your farm's productivity is determined by the number of
workers. Each worker allows you to perform one action per turn.
-
Resources: You begin with a certain amount of Wheat, Wood, Clay,
Stone, Cows, and Food. Manage these resources to grow your farm
and feed your workers.
-
Buildings: You can build Houses, Barns, and Fields, each of which
contributes to your score and has unique benefits.
Actions
In each turn, you can perform various actions depending on your
resources and the number of workers:
- Gather Wood: Adds more Wood to your resources.
- Dig Clay: Adds more Clay to your resources.
- Mine Stone: Adds more Stone to your resources.
-
Build a House: Costs resources but increases the maximum number of
workers you can have.
-
Build a Barn: Costs resources but increases the maximum number of
cows you can have.
-
Plant a Field: Costs resources but produces Wheat each turn.
-
Buy a Cow: Cows cost resources to buy but they reproduce if
there's room in the barn.
- Bake Bread: Converts Wheat into Food.
- Butcher a Cow: Converts a Cow into Food.
-
Hire a Worker: Costs Food but gives you an extra action each turn.
Each action consumes one of your workers' available actions for that
turn. When you're out of actions, your turn ends.
End of Turn
At the end of each turn:
- Your Wheat fields produce more Wheat.
- Half your cows reproduce if there's room in the barn.
-
Each worker consumes one unit of Food. If you don't have enough
Food, workers will leave.
-
The amount of Wood, Clay, and Stone you can gather increases.
Scoring
Your score is calculated based on the resources, buildings, and
workers you have at the end of each turn:
- 1 point for each Worker, House, and unit of Wood.
- 2 points for each unit of Clay, Stone, and per Barn.
- 3 points per Field and per Cow.
- 1 point for every 3 units of Wheat.
Game Over
The game ends after 10 turns. Try to manage your resources and
workers to achieve the highest score possible!
Remember, this is a game of strategy and resource management. Plan
ahead and enjoy being a virtual farmer. Good luck!
