How far can you advance on the Path to Prosperity at the busy Loyang Vegetable Market?

HOW TO PLAY

You start the game with 1 planted field of either 8 wheat, pumpkin or turnip, 1 harvested vegetable of that type and a corresponding sum of money to represent a starting value of $10. Successful farmers will move far along the Path to Prosperity in 9 rounds.

INCREASE PROSPERITY BUTTON

Click to advance on the Path to Prosperity. Each step costs more and more money, which is also needed for investments. Farmers have to find the right balance. The cost to advance is the current round + your current prosperity level. A final prosperity level of 13 is good, 14 is very good and 15 is a master!

HARVEST BUTTON

Click to advance a round and harvest one vegetable from each field to your cart. Casual customers, impatient regulars customers and market stalls go away. An additional regular customer, two casual customers and new market stall arrive. The game ends after 9 rounds.

END GAME BUTTON

Replaces the Harvest Button in round 9. Be sure to click this if you have achieved a new daily best score. Reload the page to start a new game.

COMMUNITY STORE

You can buy or sell vegetables at the store.

• Leeks, Beans: Buy for $6, Sell for $2
• Cabbage, Turnips: Buy for $5, Sell for $1
• Pumpkins: Buy for $4, Sell for $1
• Wheat: Buy for $3, Sell for $1

Make the appropriate selections in the dropdown boxes and click Go to execute a transaction.

CART

Your cart contains your inventory of vegetables available for sale, trade or planting in a field.

FIELDS

Plant vegetables from your cart in idle fields to grow more vegetables. You receive one field each round. Each planted field will produce 4 vegetables, 1 each harvest until it is depleted. Once depleted, the field will go away.

CUSTOMERS

Regular:

Regular Customers offer to purchase a group of 3 vegetables for the price indicated. The offer price will increase by $1 each time you fill their order.

A Fill Order button will appear next to a customer if the vegetables needed to fill the order are in your cart. When the Fill Order button is clicked your inventory and money will update to reflect the sale.

An X indicates a Regular Customer whose order has been filled that round. You may only fill an order once per round.

If you fill a regular customer's order, they will return next round and increase their offer by $1. If you do not fill a regular customers order, they will leave at the end of the round.

Casual:

Casual customers offer to purchase a group of two vegetables for the price indicated. Two Casual Customers will appear each round. They leave after their order is filled or after the round. The Casual Customer will offer a price based the number of Regular Customers. If you have 2 Regular Customers, the offer will equal the buy price of the vegetables in the Store. For each additional Regular Customer the offer will increase by $2.

PEDDLER/h2>

The peddler allow you to trade any vegetable for the indicated vegetable. They may be used multiple times in a round. A new stall will appear each round.

HELPERS

Five Helpers are available. They may each be only used once during the game except for a taking out a loan which is always available. Buy a Vegetable for the Store Sell price, Sell a Vegetable for the Store Buy price Harvest one Vegetable from one of your fields Buy an Additional Field at $1 per size. Take out a $4 loan. You will lose 1 level of prosperity in round 9 for each loan.
