Starting Up When you load the game, you'll be prompted to enter your initials. Only three characters, make 'em count!
Control the Racquet Now, we're not talking about a wooden Racquet here. This is more like a paddle, and it's your main way to interact with the game. You can move it left and right, either with the Arrow keys on your keyboard or by dragging it if you're on a touch screen. You've gotta keep it moving, because that ball is going to be bouncing all over the place!
Bounce that Ball Once you're ready to start, hit the space bar or touch the screen, and the ball will start moving. Your goal is to hit it with your bat. Timing and position are everything. If you hit the ball towards the center of the bat, it'll bounce back straight. But if you hit it towards the edges, you'll get a nice curve on the return, which can really spice up your game.
Targets and Points Now, here's where things get interesting. There are targets floating around, and your aim is to hit 'em with the ball. Score points and don't hit Out or your opponent scores a point instead. Your score is going to be shown in traditional tennis terms, so "Love" means zero, and then it goes "15", "30", and "40". It's not just about racking up points, it's also about avoiding those 'Out' targets.
Now, get out there and show 'em what you're made of! You cannot be serious if you think you can't master this game! Remember, this game is like tennis. The ball can smell your fear. Never let 'em see you sweat, and let's see those high scores!
